MEEKER I The Meeker Summer Entertainment Series, sponsored by the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Parks District, will offer free music from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday on the lawn at the Rio Blanco County Courthouse on Main Street in Meeker.
There will be free music provided by “Crime Scene,” and folks are reminded to bring lawn chairs to the concert to provide comfortable seating.
According to the Meeker Chamber of Commerce July newsletter, food will also be available for purchase on the lawn during the concert.
A barbecue will be put on by the United Methodist Church, and a pork dinner plate will be $8 and a hamburger or brat dinner plate will be $7. The Youth Group of the United Methodist Church will also have a “build your own sundae” booth.
