Burnell graduated from McLaughlin High

MEEKER — Jonathan Burnell was graduated from McLaughlin High School in McLaughlin, S.D., on May 17.
In addition to his diploma, Jon was awarded the American Legion medallion.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Broken Arrow C Supper Club.
Burnell is the son of Sam Burnell and Jody and Caleb Gardner, all formerly of Meeker. Grandparents are Terry and Betty Jo Oliver of Rozet, Wyo., and Curt and Bev Burnell of Belmont, N.Y.
Great-grandparents are Fuzz and Roberta Cook of Meeker, Helen Ruth Oliver of Casper, Wyo., and Ruby Kemp of Belmont, N.Y.
Burnell attended school in Meeker for all but two years of his high school career.
