RBC I The office of Congressman Scott Tipton is currently accepting applications from students who are interested in attending a United States Service Academy in 2015. The deadline for applications to Tipton’s office is Oct. 7.
Tipton nominated 11 students from the 3rd Congressional District in 2015 to U.S. Service Academies. His office uses a merit-based competitive process to ensure that the best qualified individuals are given the opportunity to attend.
Students who applied were required to submit an essay, test scores, an application, letters of recommendation, transcripts and complete an in-person interview before a panel in order to be considered.
