February incidents up 22 percent

RBC — The combined incidents for the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and the Meeker Police Department significantly increased during February 2009, with a 22 percent increase in activity compared to February 2008.
Total incidents received through the communications center increased to 1,002 in February 2009, up from 821 in February 2008. The number of calls for service decreased for the sheriff’s office with 155 incidents in February 2009, down from 241 in February 2008.…
