Just out grazing…

This tom turkey was enjoying his feed and the sunshine so much Sunday that he really didn’t mind being photographed at close range. The tom was the only male turkey along with 12 hens out near the driveway at a home just a few miles east of Meeker along County Road 8. In addition to this group of turkeys, several other groups of five to 20 members were seen along a 15-mile stretch of County Road 8 on Sunday.
