RANGELY — Rangely 4-H Shooting Sports Kids did great at the Rio Blanco County Shoot-off in Meeker Saturday, July 19.
Hasten Bolger took first place grand champion in .22 rifle in the senior division, Antoinette Dorris took fourth place in .22 rifle in the juniors division and Makayla Darnell took 12th place .22 rifle junior and eighth place junior archery. Great job to all the kids that were there.
We would also like to say farewell to Chris and Andy Herrera. This will be their last year as 4-H Shooting Sports leaders. They did an awesome job and will be deeply missed next year.
Keep up the good work, kids. See you at fair.
Thanks again, Meeker, for a great day and a great shoot. A special thank you goes to the Meeker archery coaches for helping the independents from Rangely.
