On Aug. 17 at the downtown pavilion between the old courthouse and new Justice Center, representatives of the Town of Meeker, the Meeker Chamber of Commerce and the county gathered to meet Colorado Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne, who stopped in town to honor Meeker’s achievement of “candidate status” in the Colorado Main Street Program. Participants included county Economic Development coordinator Katelin Cook, Councilman Scott Creecy, Lt. Gov. Lynne, Town Court Clerk and administrative assistant Amy Tupy, Town Clerk Lisa Cook, Town Manager Scott Meszaros, chamber member Reed Kelley, Councilman Rodney Gerloff, Meeker Mayor Regas Halandras and Meeker Chief of Police Bob Hervey.
