Fall Concert…

MATT SCOGGINS  photo Tuesday, Oct. 25, the high school choir, sixth grade band and the seventh-12th grade band came together to entertain parents and community members alike for their fall concert. The sixth grade band, which is made up of 25 students, featured a variety of instruments including flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, french horns, trombones, baritones and percussion. They played a range of music including “Go for Excellence,” “Go Big Green” and the “Dragon Dance.” The high school band, which is made up of 12 students, played Winchester Chronicles before joining the seventh and eighth grade band students as the combined group of 24 students played selections including John Williams: “Move Adventures,” “Old Time Rock and Roll” and “Fanfare and Jubilee.” The choir consisted of six students from the high school. They also performed a variety of music including “Circle of Life,” “With One Look,” “Autumn” and hits from the Beatles. The band and choir concert was presented by Rangely Junior/Senior High School music instructor Carol Morton.
