CNCC alumnae Alyssa Mae Magalong finished in the top 15 as a semi-finalist in the Miss Colorado USA Pageant. She was awarded a semi-finalist trophy and scholarship for $36,000 to Lindenwood University. The Miss Colorado contestants also voted her “Miss Congeniality.” She was recognized and awarded a plaque. “It was wonderful to see some of my pageant friends. I also met a lot of new ones. I’m honored to have been able to compete with women of high caliber. It was a very special and exciting pageant weekend at the Union Colony Civic Center with my family, former WSCU volleyball teammates and friends cheering me on. I’d also like to thank those who watched me compete live streamed, as well as all of my supporters for your continued support,” Magalong said.
