MEEKER I Re-enactments of famous battles and unsolved crimes are fairly common on television, but a live re-enactment of Meeker’s thwarted 1896 bank robbery offers a picture of living history everyone can enjoy.

Phil Jannes played one of the bank robbers in last year’s re-enactment at the corner of Sixth and Main in downtown Meeker. This year’s bank robbery re-enactment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the same location.
