Letter: Frank Cooley says thanks for article

Thank you for the lengthy article about me in the Herald Times. I have received a number of happy comments around town.
Bill Brennan reminded me of the ranchers on Piceance Creek, where I have worked and studied since 1948. Bill was a county commissioner when I was county attorney and he served as the West Slope member on the Colorado Highway Commission. During these years, the county applied for permits from the Bureau of Land Management for the Piceance Creek road, County Road 5. After the surveys and permits and culverts, the county paved the road. Thanks for that and for encouraging state Sen. Strang on the $75 million oil shale trust fund, go to Bill Brennan.
