Tropical Coyotes play on courthouse lawn

MEEKER | The free Summer Entertainment Series, sponsored by the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District, will feature the band Tropical Coyotes this Friday.
The Tropical Coyotes were formed in 1998. They were voted by Denver talent agents as one of the 10 best event bands in the state. From calypso to Jimmy Buffett, Latin sounds to Beach Boys, the Coyotes have performed for audiences from 60 to 6,000.
The concert will be on the courthouse lawn, 550 Main in Meeker, from 6 p.m. until dark. Bring your own seating; rainout location is the Meeker Hotel and Café.
