RBC | Meeker sixth-grader Adriana Price helped raised $200 for Barone Middle School teacher Kris Casey, who is currently undergoing radiation therapy. Price first came up with the community service idea during her sixth grade class “Genius Hour,” where the students brainstorm about a project to any given topic. To raise the money, Adriana hosted a spaghetti dinner and a movie, with admissions costing $6 per person.
“I know how much Mrs. Casey does for our town, and how much she appreciates it, so I wanted to do something equally as special as she is,” said Price.
