Douglas Pass construction through August

RBC | The Colorado Department of Transportation began a project on CO 139 on the south side (Garfield County) of Douglas Pass on April 30, with an anticipated completion date of mid-August. The work, contracted to United Companies for $4.8 million, repairs, resurfaces and replaces guardrail along 12 miles between mile point (MP) 19 at the southern base of the pass and MP 31, about three miles south of the summit.
