Scholarship awarded to Urista

MEEKER | Lauren Urista, a 2018 graduate of Meeker High School and daughter of Janelle and Paul Urista, is the 2018 recipient of the $1,000 Rio Blanco County Farm Bureau Scholarship, Urista will utilize her scholarship to pursue degrees in ag/business and equine training/management at Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colo. The annual scholarship is administered and funded by the local Rio Blanco County Farm Bureau Association. Urista’s selection was based on her academic record, school activities, community services, and agricultural work experiences and service.
