RANGELY | This past Friday the Rangely Panthers had a home conference game against Gilpin County. The Panthers started this week quickly having an unanswered 38 first quarter. Scoring was from Titus Coombs, Devin Ramirez and Drew Brannan all having rushing touchdown while Ramirez added another in a 60-yard punt return. Brannan and Ramirez hooking up on a 35-yard pass for a touchdown as well. To start the second quarter the Panthers continued to dominate the game with another 60-yard run by Ramirez.
After that it was all the future Panthers taking over. Zane Varner added another touchdown before the half making the score 53-0 at halftime. The second half seemed short due to the speed up clock and the Panthers added one more rushing touchdown by freshman quarterback Kiehlin Myers.
The Panthers travel to Plateau Valley this Saturday for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Cowboys to end their regular season. Panthers are sitting at 7-1 and are looking good to host a playoff game in two weeks.

Devin Ramirez and Dante Pearce.
Tackles: Anthony Lujan and Tristan Moore with six each, Titus Coombs with five, Gabe Polley added four, Zane Varner had three, Grady Nielson and Stetson Cudo had two each, and Panthers with one tackle were Del Garner, Justin Cudo and Devin Ramirez.
