Obituary: Bonnie May Hartman

Bonnie May Hartman was born in Montrose to Roscoe Lanathan and Juanita (Allene) Millsaps.
The family moved to Rangely in September 1966, where Bonnie attended Rangely Elementary, Middle School and High School, graduating in 1977.
On Aug. 14, 1982, Bonnie married Ronald Wayne Hartman of Zanesville, Ohio. Together they worked side by side operating the Chevron gas station and R&B Tires, which they owned. In their spare time, Bonnie liked fishing and spending time with her husband. In 2007 they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. After Ron’s death in February 200, Bonnie liked spending time with her new friends at White River Village and Eagle Crest Assisted Living Center. She held many of them fondly in her heart. She spent many hours fine tuning her artistic abilities and was quite an artist when she became ill and unable to pursue her interest.
She is survived by her sister Barbara (Jon) Daniels, Rangely, and brother Boyd (Iris) Millsaps, Dinosaur, mother -in-law Florence Hartman, Zanesville, Ohio, and two brothers-in-law Randy Hartman, Zanesville, Ohio, and Ralph Hartman, Blue Rock Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her dad Roscoe Millsaps, mom Allene Millsaps Anderson, brother Ben Millsaps, and her husband Ron Hartman.
The family wishes to thank all of you for your supposrt and prayers for this most difficult two years. We know that Bonnie is at peace and waiting to see us all again someday. Bonnie will forever be in our hearts, the soft spoken one in the family, she would be amazed at the amount of love expressed for her from all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but her memory lives within every heart she touched. She loved you all.
There will be a viewing Thursday, Aug. 27 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Rangely Mortuary. Her service will be Friday, Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church with interment following at the Rangely Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice or Eagle Crest Assisted Living Center. Rangely Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements.
