RBC | The Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF) is accepting applications for a wide variety of scholarships available to students residing in western Colorado. A total of 36 different scholarship funds managed by WCCF are available to students through one online application at www.wc-cf.org. Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000-plus and many are renewable for up to four years. Criteria varies from financial need, to GPA scores, to chosen field of study and covers both four-year degree programs and vocational institutions. Deadline for applying is March 4. In 2018, WCCF committed $790,000 in scholarship awards, paid out over the next four years, to help 98 students from Western Slope counties attend college and pursue their dreams.
The Western Colorado Community Foundation serves seven counties in western Colorado, managing charitable funds for community good. Currently, the Community Foundation manages 260 charitable funds totaling $75 million in assets and awards over $3.5 million in grants and scholarships annually.
