RBC | The Rio Blanco Board of County Commissioners meeting was called to order on April 15 in Rangely, Colorado at 11:03 a.m. Commissioners Si Woodruff, Jeff Rector and Gary Moyer were all in attendance. The commissioners made a change to the April 15 agenda by postponing the bid award for the 2019 Rio Blanco County’s Secondary Tower Construction Project for 16, six solar panel power units and cabinets, to Teltech Group until the April 22 meeting in Meeker. Woodruff moved and Moyer seconded this change. All three commissioners voted to approve the items from the consent agenda including the minutes from the April 8, 2019 meeting.
There was no new business and no bid openings.
The Rio Blanco Board of County Commissioners awarded the following bids: the 2019 Rio Blanco County 4-wheel drive backhoe loader to Wagner Equipment Company in an amount not to exceed $17,650. The 2019 Rio Blanco County 4-wheel drive loader to Honnen Equipment Company in an amount not to exceed a total of $77,675, which includes three loaders. Loader No. 1, a 2019 John Deere 544L, in an amount not to exceed $19,225. Loader No. 2, a 2019 John Deere 544L, in an amount not to exceed $14,225 and Loader No. 3, a 2019 John Deere 544L, in an amount not to exceed $44,225. Finally the commissioners moved to award the 2019 Rio Blanco County all wheel drive motograders (2) with attachments to Honnen Equipment in an amount not to exced $159,200 each, for a total of $318,500. There were no MOU’s, contracts, agreements or resolutions on the agenda. No public comment or public hearings were entertained. The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 a.m. The next Rio Blanco Board of County Commissioners regular meeting is scheduled in Meeker on Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m.
