Coe D. Mangus

Coe D. Mangus passed away on March 18, 2020, due to complications caused from COPD. he was 62 years old. He was born on Oct. 18, 1957 to Robert and Delores Mangus in Montrose, Colorado. Coe spent 13 years growing up in Norwood, Colorado and moved with his family to Meeker in the fall of 1969.
After getting his education, Coe moved to Utah and began employment with Big D Construction, as a heavy equipment operator and welder. Later in life, he worked and enjoyed landscaping, and was also an avid gardener. Coe loved the great outdoors, and spent much of his time in the mountains, hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting.
He is survived by his sisters Gae Mangus, D’Aun Mangus, LaTonne Mangus, (brother-in-law Scott Kracht); nephew Travis Murphy; and special friend of 40 years, Marie Nielson.
Coe was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Delores Mangus; grandparents Delbert and Alma Pollard; brother in-law Stormy Murphy; and best friend Steve Brumback.
As per Coe’s previous wishes, no services will take place. His family will have a celebration of life later in the year.
