Home of: Jake Welle

MEEKER | Meeker native Jake Welle is this week’s “home of” honoree.
Jake celebrates his milestone 30th birthday today. Abby Sizemore is Jake’s bride of seven years. Both Jake’s and Abby’s parents live in Meeker. Jake’s parents are Dick and Cindy Welle. Abby’s parents are Mike and Kathy Sizemore.
Jake is a journeyman electrician for Ducey’s Electric. He works mostly out in the Piceance Basin.
Jake and Abby have a daughter, Sarah, who turns 3 in March.
In his spare time, Jake enjoys “hunting, hunting and hunting, ATVs, snowmobiles, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.”
What Jake likes most about Meeker is “his family, the great outdoors and this is home.”
