Sister Sember Leatham is a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is serving for 18 months in the Arkansas Little Rock Mission from Jan 2020-June 2021. Right now she is serving in the Choctaw area of Arkansas.
Her purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ and find peace and guidance for their lives and family through this time of turmoil. Right now all missionaries are quarantined to their apartments, and they are trying to reach out and help people over social media!
About her experience Sember says, “This has been one of the hardest and most rewarding times of my mission experience. We get to reach out and serve people from all over the world and in the area. Every day we see miracles of people’s prayers being answered and seeing God’s hand in their lives as they try to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. God has not abandoned His people! Nor will He ever abandon His people. He loves each of us and He knows what we are dealing with during the COVID-19. Every day I see people softening their hearts to help their neighbor and reconnect with family. I truly believe that this trial will make us into a more loving people and nation!”
