Ribbon cutting for CNCC project Nov. 12

RANGELY I Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) and Chevron Energy Solutions (CES) will commemorate the completion of the Rangely Campus Energy Efficiency Upgrade Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. in the Johnson Banquet Room.
The project is estimated to save the college approximately $2.39 million during the next 19 years. It involved a major overhaul of the campus heating and cooling system, much of which was the original equipment installed in the early 1960s when the college was built and was only 80 percent efficient when brand new. The upgrade also included improved and more efficient lighting around the campus.
