RANGELY | McKenzie Webber is the new face of the Rangely Area Chamber of Commerce after the executive director position was vacated by Richard Smith. Webber spent the summer as an intern at the Town of Rangely helping promote the town and town events with marketing coordinator Jeannie Caldwell.
She is the daughter of Tim and Annette Webber of Rangely. The Rangely High School alumnae was active in many facets of the community before attending college including serving as the Rangely Jr./Sr. High School Student Council President. In just three years, she graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s degree in government with an emphasis in policy.
She looks forward to giving back to the community and helping the chamber propel forward. In a short time she has dived into her new role and is collaborating with other organizations to bring new events to the community, with the soonest being the National Night Out with local law enforcement on Oct. 6 at Elks Park followed by Octoberfest slated for Oct. 24. Webber’s love and passion for her hometown is evident. Excited for this opportunity, she says she hopes to inspire other youth to return and contribute to their communities.
