RANGELY | The Panthers hosted the Meeker Cowboys on March 25, losing in four sets, 17-25, 14-25, 25-21, and 17-25. Aspen Low led the Panthers with seven kills, with Maya Mercado adding in five kills, assisted by Adelyn Halcomb with 14. Defensively, Low led with seven solo blocks. Halcomb, Crimsen Blakenship, and Ryann Mergelmann led with two aces each.
The Panthers then traveled to Soroco on Saturday, March 27. Panthers had a hard time getting anything going and dropped three sets. Offensively, Low led the Panthers with five kills, with Halcomb assisting with seven. Mercado led the Panthers with two aces. Defensively, Low led with two solo blocks, while Emma Smith led in digs with six. The Panthers struggled with ball control and getting the offensive going.
The Panthers will travel to Debeque on Friday, April 2 and then will host Caprock and Vail Christian on Saturday, April 3.
