RBC | This past week (May 24-30) RBC had six additional cases in both Meeker and Rangely with an increase in hospitalization rate. Although not confirmed as of June 1, 2021, there is a suspected case of the variant India (Delta) strain in Rio Blanco County.

Please be advised that testing for COVID-19 is recommended for all symptomatic individuals (please see CDC website for list of symptoms), and all individuals who are exposed to a known case. If you have no symptoms, but have been exposed, it is advised to test 5-7 days after your last known exposure, or as soon as possible after you begin to develop symptoms.
Free antigen and/or molecular testing is available by appointment for all citizens at both Meeker and Rangely Public Health, as well as travel and pre-surgical testing at no cost.
