RBC | For the week of July 5-11, there have been 21 new reported cases of COVID-19 with no new hospital admissions. According to Public Health, there is community spread of the Delta variant. Updated data analysis of the variant shows 8-10% of cases require emergency medical treatment.
Just over 2,000 Rio Blanco County residents have received at least one dose of vaccine as of July 13, 2021, for a percentage of 37.2%. Of those 2,000, there have been four breakthrough cases in fully vaccinated individuals. Those four reported mild to moderate symptoms.
