Letter: Scholarship recipient appreciates support

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Meeker who have supported the “Grow Your Own” program through Pioneers Medical Center for scholarships for people either continuing their education or starting into the health field careers. I received one of the $500 scholarships for CNCC, and am planning to continue into the nursing program. Without the kind and generous funds that so many people have contributed to this program, my dream of becoming a nurse would have taken me longer to achieve. Thank you again, people of Meeker.
