Rabies clinic in Rangely will be Saturday, April 17

RANGELY I The Rangely Animal Shelter, in conjunction with the Rangely Police Department, will sponsor the annual rabies clinic on Saturday, April 17 from 1-4 p.m. (after the health fair) at the Rangely Fire Hall on East Main Street.
Veterinarians from Vernal (Utah) Countryside Clinic will administer shots and microchips. All shots will be at reduced prices and microchipping will be added. Free town animal licenses (dogs and cats) will be issued when accompanied with current rabies certification.
All animals must be in a carrier (preferably cats) or on a lead. All handlers must keep their animal in control at all times. Any animals causing a disturbance will be removed from the area, for everyone’s safety.
The shelter invites anyone interested in advertising their business or showing or promoting their organizations — for example, groomers, kennels, animal shelters, 4-H groups, Girl/Boy Scouts, etc., or any one that has something to do with animals — to bring a small table and there will be a place inside to set up a display. No reservation is necessary.
There will be a bake sale, with all proceeds going to the animal shelter for the animals. Any donated baked goods would be appreciated.
