RBC I The annual After Birth Ball will be held in Meeker on April 18, and tickets are now available at the Meeker Chamber of Commerce.
Celebrating the end of the calving and lambing season, the annual event is sponsored by the Meeker Chapter of the Future Farmers of America and will be held at the Freeman E. Fairfield Center, 200 Main Street. Dinner tickets are $35 per person for adults and $25 for youths 12 and under.
Events will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and live and silent auction preview, followed with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a free dance open to everyone at 9 p.m.
Part of the fun will be the live and silent auctions of donated goods as well as the auctioning off of FFA hired-hand workers. All auction proceeds will go to support the Meeker FFA and Agricultural Education.
Live music will be provided for the dance, and will feature the Harris and Lee Band. There will also be a cash bar provided throughout the event.
