Alicia Mobley recognized by Meeker Mustang Makeover for exemplary marketing support

SPECIAL TO THE HT

MEEKER | Alicia Mobley, a local Meeker High School graduate, whose father is the Undersheriff for Rio Blanco County,  first joined the board as their youngest board member shortly after the event’s beginning, showing up at the board meeting and offering her help. The board nominated her to serve on the board and she quickly moved into a marketing position with the board, taking over the facebook page and website and building the audience to over four thousand followers over the next several years.

Owing to the large workload for the event, she transitioned to a staff position in marketing about three years after joining the board and developed a publicity campaign, making flyers, and regular communication with the growing database of mustang enthusiasts.

After moving to Grand Junction three years ago, she continued her work virtually continuing to help the event grow and grow.

Finally this year as work took more of her time, the board reluctantly accepted her retirement, leaving big shoes for our next marketing expert who will be hired after the board finalizes our new Executive Director. Stay tuned and thank you Alicia for volunteering and becoming a celebrated and truly valued member of our team!
