Airport to close for seven months
MEEKER I Starting April 8, Meeker Airport will be closed for approximately seven months while Rio Blanco County carries out two projects to improve the runway area at the facility to what eventually may be a C2 rating.

Funds improve for water, sewer
MEEKER I Funding for the multi-agency project to extend the Meeker water and sewer line to the new Pioneers Medical Center site and Curtis Creek area on Meeker Terrace is rapidly nearing the point of full funding commitment, the Rio Blanco County Economic Stakeholders announced last week.

Roughly 60 Meeker residents spent an educational two hours on April 14 at Meeker High School, learning firsthand about President Abraham Lincoln. County justice center plans crawling forward
