CPW accepting apps for state park rangers

BLM Youth Hike…
Local youth helped the BLM install a permanent trail registry while on a hike with BLM staff on May 14. Youths participating in the project ranged from 9 to 11 years of age.
Hunter ed classes
RBC I A free hunter safety class will be taught in Meeker July 11, 12 and 13 at Kilowatt Korner. The class runs 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday July 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 12 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 13.
Cards needed …
The family of Bryon and Jo Linden of Meeker, who were married July 9, 1943, in Monterey, Calif., is asking for a barrage of anniversary cards for the couple, who will be celebrating their 70th anniversary with a card shower on July 9.
