Letter: Tea Party wants to restore accountability
There were two letters to the editor in the May 27 Herald Times that particularly caught my eye. The first letter concerning the Tea Party asked questions that, in my opinion, the author knew the answers, but in the interest of extolling the party line feigned ignorance.

RANGELY I The Rangely track team was fortunate enough to take two hard-working senior athletes to the State Track and Field Championships this past weekend. Logan Osborne qualified for the 300 hurdles and Audrey Hogan qualified for both the 800 run and the 1,600 run.

Meeker athletes bring home nine state medals
MEEKER I This year’s state track meet showcased some state records, the introduction of disabled athlete events and very strong winds on Saturday. Meeker kids qualified in 11 events and placed 17th out of the 100 plus schools in the 2A division.

Obituary: Clem John Clark
Clem John Clark, son of Roger B. and Janet M. Clark, was born at Pioneers Hospital on March 9, 1985. For 25 years he fought a never-ending battle with cystic fibrosis but it never stopped him from living his life to the fullest.
