RANGELY | On Jan. 11, the Rangely 4-H council met for the first time after Christmas break. Torie Slagle led the meeting while Shelby Neiberger, Raelynn Norman, and Tessa Slagle ate pizza. They brainstormed fun activities to do for the new year. Bring your ideas in!

Brusto wins Rangely Elks Chili Cook-off
RANGLEY I Michelle Brusto won first place in the 10th annual Elks Chili Cook-off, which was held at the Rangely Elks Lodge on Super Bowl Sunday.
ERBM swim and soup day is Saturday
MEEKER | The ERBM Recreation and Park District is sponsoring a free Family Swim Day and Soup and Dessert Cook-off Saturday, Feb. 13. Free swimming will be during normal pool hours from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

4-H Sheep and Goat Club meets Feb. 1
MEEKER | The second 4-H Sheep and Goat Club meeting of the year was held Feb. 1. Aly Ridings called roll. The group has $500.16 and decided to do the sheep lead as a community pride project again.
