Hotchkiss Bulldogs bite Meeker

MEEKER — The Hotchkiss Bulldogs gave good indication that their No. 4 state ranking is deserved Friday night as they easily handled the visiting Meeker Cowboys 47-14 to end the regular season for both teams.

n Free Pumpkins, Eats and Treats will be held on Friday, Oct. 31 and will include a costume contest, costume parade, trick or treating at downtown businesses and food. Participants should meet at the Meeker Elementary School at 5 p.m. for the costume judging at 5:15 p.m.

RANGELY — Jerry Ray Cox and Michelle Erin Cox would like to announce the birth of their baby girl Hailey Rayne Cox born Oct. 20, 2008, at 3:49 p.m. at Craig Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and measured 20 1/4 inches long.
