The 2019-2020 Meeker Cowboy wrestling team celebrated their year Monday. Receiving awards were, from left to right, Reese Harvey – Most Improved, Trae Kennedy – Most Near Falls and Most Tech Falls, Colby Clatterbaugh – Most Dedicated, Most Takedowns, Most Wins, Ridge Williams – Most Valuable, Dax Sheridan – Most Pins, Most Reversals, Most Escapes.
Clatterbaugh and Kennedy had been training for nationals in Virginia Beach before the Colorado High School Activities Association canceled practices and nationals has been postponed. Head coach JC Watt called this team, “dedicated and hard-working and a fun team to coach.”
