RBC | Meeker and Rangely schools started the new year on Monday, Aug. 24.

Students and staff of the Rangely School District must go through a temperature-reading kiosk before entering district buildings. Rangely Superintendent Matt Scoggins said they’ve checked the devices against handheld thermometers and they’re “pretty close.” Students and staff are expected to check their own temperatures at home before coming to school, but the kiosks are a “trust but verify” system.
