RBC | Rio Blanco County residents are invited to participate in the Indoor Exhibits at the Fair which are entered on Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Indoor Exhibits are anything along the lines of: baked and canned goods, photography, scrapbooking, painting, drawings, crafts, horticulture, floriculture, sewing, needlework, crocheting and similar items. If it’s home-made and home-grown, bring it to the Fair.
A fun, engaging and new educational activity this year will be CAM’s Ag Academy from Colorado State University. On Aug. 3-5 RBC 4-H members will be leading ag in the classroom activities for all fair-going attendees. Youth of all ages and their adults are invited to become certified Ag Ambassadors and feel confident in their agricultural literacy and proud to be of an ag community.
Ways to participate with CSU’s CAM’s Ag Academy:
– Become a Jr. Ag Ambassador
– Increase your Ag Literacy with mini-ag in the classroom activities
– Participate in Fair-themed scavenger hunts that change each day!
– Learn all about the fair exhibits through youth-guided fair tours!
RBC 4-H’rs will also be hosting Fairgrounds tours on Aug. 3-5 for anyone who would like to participate in an engaged and educational tour of all the sights and entries of the fair!
