Lucas and Haley Turner of Rifle are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Jackson Alexander Turner, born Thursday, Jan. 24 at 8:30 a.m. at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colo. He weighed 7 lbs., 3.9 oz. and was 19 inches long. Jackson is welcomed by maternal grandparents Shane and Anne McCrary of Silt, great-grandmother Julie Gould McCrary of Rifle, great-grandparents Larry and Linda Eggers of Glenwood Springs and uncle Michael McCrary of Silt. Paternal grandparents are Pat and Niki Turner of Meeker, great-grandfather Tom Turner of Glenwood Springs, great-grandparents Samuel and Beverly Bryan of Silt, uncle Joshua Turner of Rifle, aunt and uncle Caitlin and Chance Walker of Meeker, and four very excited cousins.
