RANGELY | Rangely’s Board of Trustees had a brief meeting just prior to the Thanksgiving holiday in which they approved a special event permit for the Rangely District Hospital Foundation’s New Year’s Eve Mixer on Dec. 31, 2022 at The Gathering Place. A permit for a Dec. 3 CNCC Foundation event was on the agenda, but the event has been canceled.
Also approved were a renewed liquor license for BPOE Lodge 1907, and a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment assistance grant for a Middle Zone tank mixer not to exceed $25,000 total cost,
Town Manager Lisa Piering was not in attendance to provide her regular update. Gas Department Supervisor Kelli Neiberger said the department has been busy winterizing, assured trustees that since the department pre-purchased its natural gas supplies, rates should stay steady, and discussed employee training.
