Meeker Dispatch Center administered 349 phone calls last week including 27 911 calls, 27 calls for Meeker Police Department (MPD) and placed 89 outgoing calls. A total of 150 calls for service were created, 50 for the Sheriff’s Office, 46 for MPD.
Note the department breakdown of calls may differ from the total number reported due to individual incidents with multiple agencies responding.
• Law enforcement conducted 16 traffic stops
• Sheriff’s Deputies issued 6 citations on 11 stops and 1 traffic arrest
• MPD issued 2 citations on 19 stops
• There was one DUI and one traffic arrest
• 7 traffic crashes occurred in RBC, four involving wildlife. RBSO and MPD assisted Colorado State Patrol on 6 calls.

• 8 agency assists
• 3 animal calls
• 6 security checks
• 7 attempts to serve civil papers
• 4 citizen assists
• 2 civil
• 2 domestic violence
• 2 fraud
• 3 motorist assists
• One each: alarm, DUI, traffic complaint and VIN inspection

• 2 Agency Assists
• 3 animal calls
• 23 business checks
• 3 citizen assists
• 3 suspicious incidents
• 3 VIN inspections
• One each: harassment, restraining order violation, theft, traffic accident and warrant arrest
Meeker Fire and Rescue responded to 7 calls
• 2 ambulance requests and assisted CSP on two traffic crashes
Rio Blanco Detentions
• 14 current inmates, 12 males and 2 females
• 2 warrant arrests
• 1 bond revocation
• 9 booked, 8 by RBCSO and 1 from MPD
• 14 inmates released
• 2 transports to or from other facilities.
