RBC I Rangely High School alum and former Meeker teacher/coach Bill Turner, along with his former University of Utah teammates, winners of the 1964 Liberty Bowl, were recently inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame.

RBC I The Meeker Arts and Cultural Council (MACC) is working in cooperation with and on behalf of the Meeker School District Re-1 and Meeker High School to launch a community fundraising project that would permit renovation and enhancement of the Meeker High School Auditorium.

MEEKER I The Cowboys traveled to the Gypsum Creek Golf Course for the Eagle Valley Invitational this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day to run, and a strong showing for the Meeker team.

MHS volleyball wins two
MEEKER I The Meeker High School volleyball team won two out of three matches last weekend, beating Caprock Acadamy on Thursday evening and West Grand on Saturday. Their weekend began as they hosted the team new to the league, private school Caprock Acadamy from Grand Junction.
Lady Cowboys softball team sweeps Rifle
MEEKER I The Lady Cowboys softball team traveled to Rifle Thursday, Sept. 11, and swept the Bears with 10-1, 11-6 victories. They were led by pitchers Christina Pryce of Steamboat Springs and Maria Gonzalez of Meeker.
