Jacob is expected to make full recovery
MEEKER – Justin Jacob, a graduate of Meeker High School, was still in an intensive care unit (ICU) Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Rapid City Medical Center in South Dakota after falling from a third story balcony Feb. 9. According to his father, he is improving.
Oil shale PEIS meeting today
MEEKER — The Bureau of Land Management will host an open house public meeting Feb. 14 in Meeker to offer information about the Draft Resource Management Plan Amendments and Program-matic Environmental Impact Statement (Draft PEIS) for oil shale and tar sands resources in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
