Meeker’s Bailey Franklin named wildlife officer of the year by CPW
MEEKER I Bailey Franklin, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife District Wildlife Manager from Meeker, has been named the agency’s 2014 John D. Hart Wildlife Officer of the Year.
Homecoming week to begin on Monday for Rangely High students
RANGELY I Rangely High School is quickly gearing up for its 2015 Homecoming celebration. Beginning Monday, the Panthers will begin the many traditional Homecoming activities including the football team taking on the Hayden Tigers. All week long, students at Rangely Junior/Senior High School will be celebrating with spirit days.

MEEKER I The Meeker High School Student Council is in charge of Homecoming Week, which begins Monday, and, according to MHS Head Girl Madeline Amack, co-president of the council, big plans are in the works. The theme for the whole week is “Sci-Fi!”

MEEKER I Lisa Piper of Meeker has received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Western Governors University. Meeker’s Class of 1965 has great 50th reunion
MEEKER I It was an honor and great fun to celebrate our Meeker High School 50th class reunion in conjunction with the Meeker Range Call Celebration. We were a large class in number (65), and a close class having had reunions every five years since we graduated in 1965.
