Letter: Martins express ‘heartfelt gratitude’
The Martin family would like to convey our deepest, heartfelt gratitude to the community of Meeker. We have been affectionately overwhelmed by the amount of concern and support shown us since Stone’s tragic passing and during the difficulties our family now faces.

Letter: Rangely Cub Scouts had high-flying time
The Rangely Cub Scouts Packs 189 and 191 wish to thank the Rangely Airport for our recent tour of the facility.

I am writing today to set the record straight on a topic that has taken on a life of its own. In short, I did not support nor did I vote for the vehicle fee registration increase dubbed FASTER by its proponents.
Letter: Congressman’s office doesn’t respond
When Congressman John Salazar first sought office, he impressed many of us as being a good moderate. Even though I am not a Democrat, I not only voted for him, but convinced others to do so as well.
Letter: Here’s one vote against four-day week
The dumbing of America seems to be gaining continuing inertia with Meeker wanting to willingly become a contributor and commit our future generals of School District RE-1 graduates entry to a global world equipped with provincial tools.
Letter: Substation concerns Meeker neighbors
It has only recently been brought to the attention of some of us who live in Sage Hills that White River Electric has plans to begin construction of a power substation on Sulphur Creek Road directly across from the entrance into the subdivision.
