Eight volleyball seniors will lead Lady Panthers
RANGELY I Eight seniors will lead the lady Panther volleyball team this year. After two weeks of practice, the team will travel to Montrose this Saturday for a scrimmage before opening the season the following week in Glenwood Springs.
Hurricanes win 5th consecutive state championship
RANGELY I For a fifth year in a row, the Rangely Hurricanes swim team won the small team division at the Scottie Aschermann Memorial Seasonal Club Championship meet last weekend in Gunnison.

The 2012 Rangely 8, 9 and 10 year olds baseball team entered the league tournament undefeated at 7-0 and the No. 1 seed but lost in the first round to Hayden.

RANGELY I “We had a pretty good weekend,” said Paul Fortunato, coach of the Rangely 15-18 baseball team team, about his team’s performance in the Green River tournament held last weekend in Wyoming. The Rangely team won three of five games and finished third in a field of 10 teams.
