CDPHE authorizes COVID boosters for all adults; pediatric vaccines now available

Due to Colorado’s high rate of COVID transmission, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has authorized boosters for any adult 18+ in the state, as long as it’s been six months since the initial mRNA series or two months since the initial Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Additionally, pediatric doses of the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5-11 are now available in Rio Blanco County.

Scheduled clinics are as follows:

  • Thursday, November 18th, 12-5:30pm at Public Health in Rangely, 101 E Main St (Walk-in, no appointment necessary)
  • Friday, November 19th, 12:00-4:00pm at the Fairfield Center in Meeker (Walk-in, no appointment necessary)
  • Wednesday, November 24th, 12-5:30pm at Public Health in Rangely, 101 E Main St (Walk-in, no appointment necessary)
  • Friday, November 26th, 12:00-4:00pm at the Fairfield Center in Meeker (Walk-in, no appointment necessary)
