Chamber holds auction tonight

MEEKER — The Meeker Chamber of Commerce will be auctioning John Kobald’s first created eight-inch and 23-inch bronze mountain lion statues at this evening’s chamber annual dinner.
These statues are replicas of the 9.5-foot tall bronze that will be placed on the corner of fifth and Market streets and are the primary fundraiser for this beautification project.
Tonight’s special event will be held at the Fairfield Center, with cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m.
Only a few seats remain available for dinner, people wishing to attend the auction only may enter at 7:45 p.m.
