MEEKER | Parts City is now under the ownership of John Von Flue, who has purchased Meeker Parts City from Cassie and Jeff McGuire. The Meeker Chamber of Commerce welcomed Von Flue Auto Parts to Meeker with a ribbon cutting.
“We are joining all of you from Fruita, Colorado, a place that we have come to love, but Meeker has taken our hearts. I have 25-plus years in the parts business with everything from auto to heavy duty to aviation. It’s a career that chose me when I was 16 and has continued to be something I love. My passions are travel, aviation, the outdoors, history, animals and hunting. All things that Meeker brings to the table. My wife Stefanie is an engineering technician with a mining engineering firm. We’ve been married for 18 years. We have two boys, Hunter (16) who enjoys gaming, band and aspires to be an engineer. Then we have Spencer (14) who enjoys gaming and loves basketball. We also have two girls that go everywhere with us, they’re our adventure buddies. Memphis Belle, we call her Chicken Nugget and Enola Gay, who we call Noli,” Von Flue said, adding, “Cassie and Jeff have built such an amazing legacy in Meeker. As I work towards meeting everyone and building Von Flue Auto Parts, know that the McGuire name will always be a part of the store and community. The support and love for the community they’ve shown over the years will always hang on the walls as a reminder to us all. I could never repay the kindness, support and knowledge that Cassie and Jeff have shown me. I look forward to carrying on the legacy, support and service that Cassie and Jeff have solidified in the community.
